Why pleasure is so good for you…

Pleasure, it’s such a tantalizing word. It brings up an entire array of feelings and experiences in your mind. The word alone has the power to make you feel a little excited. A great deal of things spring to my mind when I hear the word. Sometimes a person, sometimes an experience, sometimes anticipation of what’s coming, sometimes a voice, sometimes a dirty text but most of the time my mind goes straight to the gutter.

Joy and pleasure, it would seem that these two things should go hand in hand. But that’s not always the case, they say that joy comes from within and pleasure comes from external sources. So it got me thinking and I thought, in that case, ideally I want my life to be a beautiful mixture of the two. A glorious mixture of both joy and pleasure. So if joy comes from within you and the world you create for yourself, then that’s easy. Find the things that light a fire in you and then indulge in the joy that they bring. Then I got to thinking, what about pleasure? If pleasure comes from external sources then those sources are definitely something we should be exploring.

So my advice is, explore those external sources, go deep into them and explore what gives you pleasure. Explore someone who is completely new to you, explore someone who wants to explore what your body has to offer, explore someone who wants to push your boundaries, explore someone who’s only in your city for a night, explore someone who teaches you new things you find pleasurable, explore someone who wants to throw you down, someone who only has thoughts of hiking up your skirt, explore someone who appreciates your butt or better someone who wants to touch it.

My advice; create a world that’s a glorious mixture of both joy and pleasure. Feel free to explore people and enjoy the pleasure that they can bring you, but joy, that ones on you. Don’t rely on anyone else to bring you joy, find it from yourself, find it in your own world, find it from the way you interact with these people, from the ways you encourage them, from the ways they encourage you and most importantly from how you encourage yourself. Fill your world with things and people that excite you and indulge in the pleasure that they give you.
